  The event was well-planned with the organizers thinking about many small details that make a big difference. The route goes through a beautiful stretch of scenery--it was truly a pleasure to run along here. Thankfully, the weather was not too hot by the time I was able to finish the run (which is the fear of running in Kenting). The volunteers were very helpful and spread out at good distances. The track is mostly flat except for one stretch of uphill. The uphill was not very steep, but the downhill stretch going back was a bit steep. The running tank feels nice from Mizuno, with a good design. The post-run meals were very nice--freshly made food and a great variety depending on your personal tastes. It was a nice surprise at the end of the run. Overall, I was very pleased with the Kenting marathon and will hopefully run it again and again in the future!
