  It was a beautiful race. The course goes along the river with beautiful views of the farms and mountains. Due to the loop of the course, we were able to view the beautiful valley and mountains twice before returning to the hot spring park. It was a warm, sunny day--perhaps an earlier start (maybe 6:30am~) would make it more enjoyable. I forgot my cup so hydration became an issue, but the volunteers were nice and helpful. Everything was planned and executed smoothly from the LAVA team. The other runners and volunteers helped encourage everyone to make a nice running atmosphere. The Sichongxi hot spring area is lovely, I would like to return another time. If the race returns next year, I would prefer Saturday so I have more time to relax in the hot spring after the race. I hope to return for next year's race.
