  The course is extremely beautiful. There is significant elevation change, but it's worth it as you run along the beautiful canyon. This course is one of Taiwan's most beautiful marathon courses. It should be on a 'bucket list' of marathons to race in Taiwan--even though it's not a course for fast PB/record-breaking times. There were numerous times I stopped to appreciate the natural beauty. I hope to return to u-lay marathon again.
